FRUTECH 2026 – THE THIRD EDITION PRESENTS ITS MASAF

ROME – The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry will host the national press conference on June 18th at 11:00 a.m. to present the third edition of FRUTECH, the international trade fair dedicated to technological innovation for the fruit and vegetable and agri-food sectors.
The event, recognized at the ministerial level and certified as an international trade fair, will take place from 25 to 27 November 2026 at SiciliaFiera, in Misterbianco (Catania), confirming Sicily as a strategic platform in the Mediterranean for the exchange between agriculture, technology, and global markets.
The meeting will highlight the event’s key innovations, which aim to strengthen its role as a key event for innovation and development in the fruit and vegetable supply chain.
Among the key themes of the presentation was the significant presence of international buyers, fostered by synergies with ICE – Italian Trade Agency (Agenzia per la Promozione Abroad e l’Internazionalizzazione delle Aziende Italiane), Macfrut, and MIDA, with the aim of creating new commercial and internationalization opportunities for companies in the sector.
Particular attention will also be paid to the growing participation of large-scale retail trade (GDO), which is engaged in an increasingly strategic engagement with the manufacturing industry.
Frutech will also offer a rich program of conferences, workshops, and technical-scientific seminars, dedicated to the topics of innovation, sustainability, research, and new market prospects for the fruit and vegetable sector.
Italian agricultural companies in the fruit and vegetable and agri-food sectors will be able to develop commercial relationships, B2B meetings, and new channels in the foreign market, always focusing on international business.
The press conference will be attended by representatives of institutions, trade organizations, the business and research worlds, as well as the President of SiciliaFiera.
