Misterbianco \u2013 A memorandum of understanding has been officially signed between SiciliaFiera and Cesena Fiera, a strategic agreement aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two trade fair centers and promoting the development and promotion of companies in the fruit and vegetable and agricultural technology sectors.<\/p>\n

The agreement, initially, includes joint participation in Macfrut, the prestigious international trade fair dedicated to the fruit and vegetable supply chain, scheduled for April 21st to 23rd at the Rimini Expo Centre. On this occasion, a group of approximately 35 Sicilian companies will be organized, giving them the opportunity to showcase their production and technological excellence to an international audience, fostering new business and networking opportunities. <\/p>\n

The agreement also provides for reciprocal trade fair participation: during Frutech, an event taking place from November 25th to 27th at the SiciliaFiera exhibition center in Misterbianco, in the province of Catania, a stand dedicated to Macfrut will be set up, involving selected international buyers. This initiative aims to further strengthen trade relations and encourage the internationalization of local businesses. <\/p>\n

SiciliaFiera President Nino Di Cavolo stated: “This agreement represents a concrete step toward building strong synergies between leading national trade fair organizations. The collaboration with Cesena Fiera allows us to offer Sicilian companies a leading international showcase, enhancing a strategic sector for the local economy and supporting business growth and innovation.”<\/p>\n

Cesena Fiera President Patrizio Neri said: “Macfrut represents the global showcase for Italian fruit and vegetables. This event has always been characterized by its dual nature: national, as the only event showcasing the entire fruit and vegetable supply chain in our country; and global, with top buyers from around the world and exhibitors from five continents. This agreement is designed to foster the internationalization of our companies, an increasingly strategic aspect for competing in the global market.”<\/p>\n

SiciliaFiera’s Commercial Director, Saro Sallemi, added: “The agreement signed confirms our commitment to creating real opportunities for businesses. Participating in Macfrut with such a significant group and the presence of international buyers at Frutech are essential tools for facilitating the convergence of supply and demand, stimulating new markets, and consolidating the Sicilian production system’s position on the global stage.”<\/p>\n
